About Moscow

Moscow is a heart of Russia, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.  Moscow is an important political, science, educational, cultural and tourist center of Russia. There are a lot of interesting places:  different historical, cultural and architectural monuments as well as the modern entertaining infrastructure.

Since the moment of the establishment of the first Higher Educational Institution of the country - Slavyano-greko-latinsky academy - the considerable number of objects of education concentrated in the city. In 1755 on the initiative of Shuvalov and Lomonosov, the Moscow university , the oldest and the most known in Russia, was founded.

There are more than 260 higher educational institutions in Moscow. 11 Moscow HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS have the status of National research universities.
